LIMB FROM LIMB

“In LIMB FROM LIMB, artist Lisa Klinger and designer Malte van der Meyden once again form a creative alliance of drawing and object. Following questions of systematic and perspectival subdivision of spatiality, they investigate the function of structuring systems within spaces. Adaptive, horizontal grids set free the potentiality of objects through spontaneous-organic formation, changing relations, moving between static and dynamic. Not to amass functionality or to prepare for any eventuality, but to ask what that strange thing is, that which is neither tool nor decoration. And what it has and will become among other things, and the place it’s in, and you.”
